Sorry about the terrible pun in the title, but I've completely forgot to show you my new tattoos! I got them done at Vagabond Studio which was the best studio I've ever been to. Got my sister a surprise heart and a little twig of imaginary leaves.

Bought in Brighton
I didn't buy much in Brighton even though we spent endless hours looking at things, but I'm quite happy with that. Here's what I got; a pair of sunglasses, a striped cotton dress and a plain black note book. All those flea markets and this is what I get? Quite typical, isn't it.
I've wanted a pair of tortoise colored sunglasses forever. I have so many pairs but almost all of them are black (surprise). These are the perfect model as well.
If you're curious to see a better picture of the dress, here's one.
The Engagement
Last
day in Brighton, or last minute in Brighton really, Peter asked me to
marry him. It was in the bright sunlight in a park by the Pavilion
and my first reaction was "No! Not here!". Then I
immediately snatched the ring out of his hand and said something like
"Or I mean of course I will". The weird things you do in chock? I was in chock for
hours, or days even. Maybe I still am? I feel overwhelmingly happy
one minute (so happy I started crying uncontrollably in the bathroom
yesterday), the next minute I feel terrified and the next minute
after that I feel nothing. Like when you lost your virginity and was
all "I don't feel anything, I'm still the same person". The
fact that other people seem more excited then we are (we've talked
about it for months) is a bit disturbing, but I guess it may just
take me a while to process it all. I mean, I'm going to be a wife? And the wife of the kindest, cutest and most talented person I know. How weirdly wonderful is that?
WARNING!
There is a slight possibility this blog may turn into a wedding
planning blog from now on.

Second day in Brighton
Second day in Brighton we woke up to this view!
After breakfast at the hotel where we managed to break the coffee machine (oops) we headed out.
First stop was this amazing place – The North Laine Antique and Flea Market.
Oh how I love rummaging around flea markets. Luckily P feels the same way.
Wanted to buy this for my sister who's a biologist and comes to visit soon. I didn't though :'(
The whole place felt like when you were a kid discovering Grandmas attic.
Some bits were a bit scary.
The next stop was equally exciting – Snooper's Paradise.
And Snooper's Attic.
We took two rounds of photos in their old Photo Booth. Brighton must-do.
Then headed out again. My hair and a bit of wind is a dangerous combination.
We strolled down south to Krusoe, which is a super nice streetwear boutique in one of the tiny alleys of Brighton.
Then the camera battery died but we continued our shopping spree. I'll show you what I bought tomorrow. When we got hungry we had burgers at Lucky Beach which is this amazing place literally on the beach. Then we took a stroll on the pier before heading home for a nap. In the evening we went to an all veggie restaurant that was a bit of a disappointment, but we were still full from the burgers so we didn't even care. And that was the second day.

First day in Brighton
This Wednesday we woke up early to go on a three day adventure. I was a bit sleepy, but the weather was perfect.
After overground and underground trains we ended up in Victoria station where we had breakfast.
Then we took a train down south.
Train views.
And ended up here.
In Brighton!
It was a pretty perfect day.
And Brighton was very, very picturesque.
First thing we did was having a coffee and a walk along the beach.
I really do miss the seaside when living in London.
Our hotel was on the other side of the beach so we had to walk pass all this prettiness to get there.
Everywhere you looked was a postcard view.
Brighton Pier.
Another postcard.
After we'd left our bags at our hotel we went exploring Brighton.
First off was the Royal Pavilion, George IV's summer house.
Then we walked through all the little alleys that looked like something out of Harry Potter.
In the afternoon we checked in at our Hotel. This was our view.
And this was our street.
I found a pink wall perfect for a afternoon selfie. Result's here.
When we got hungry we headed to a restaurant close to our hotel called Ginger Dog.
The food was nice but maybe not worth the money, quite expensive as it was.
After dinner we went down to the beach to be amazed by the sunset.
Then we went for a few beers at a bar called Black Dove, before crashing in bed.
And that was our first Brighton day.
