Missing these freaks

Stockholm by night

One week ago after our little tattoo session me and P headed to Södermalm to meet up with some friends. First up was a sushi stop, then we walked over to Ludde and Hilda's place for some drinks with this view.

When the sun was setting we took a bus to Skanstull.

Boys.

This is where we were going – Trädgården.

It's a bar and a night club under the Skanstull's bridge that hosts great open air concerts and dj sets in the summer. But since it was a Tuesday only a small part of it was open and the crowd was rather sparse.

But my old friend Mike were making amazing veggie burgers and the beer was cold and more and more friends dropped by.

Fun times!

So even if we'd planned a quiet and early night we ended up being out and about til two. Oh, holidays! <3

How Peter and I first met

Photo: Felix Swensson
First time I saw him was under the worst circumstances. I was working with this festival and I had way too much responsibilities. I didn't have time to sleep or eat properly and was close to breaking when this guy comes up to me and gives me a hug and asks me if he can help out with anything. I was astonished and on the verge of tearing up but eventually I just kept on working until two days later when it was time to go home. Then this guy comes up to me again, hugs me again and says something like "I hope we meet again soon". I was exhausted and all I was thinking was that he had beautiful eyes and seemed so genuinely kind. Like he really cared about me even though we didn't knew each other.

After the festival my friends and Peters friends started hanging out more. I already knew Peters best friend from when I was visiting a friend of mine in New York. Later that fall the infamous Hurricane Collective, where I was living at the time, was throwing a party to celebrate our roomie Sannahs birthday. The theme of the party was animals and everybody was wearing these Japanese costumes. Later we went to Berns (a club in Stockholm) where "Nicho and 15 animals" was on the list. Wearing a fleece cat costume to a nightclub wasn't exactly pleasant, but while some German techno dj was playing I ended up in the middle of the dance floor with Peter, who laughed at my costume, and then he took my hand. Guess we were pretty drunk but it didn't seem cheesy at all at that time.

Later that night all of us went back to the house to have an after party and me and Peter ended up making out in the stairs. I was drunk and cheeky and said something like "I'm going to my room to sleep now but if you're too tired to go home later I have a double bed." Not long after I heard someone knock pretty shyly on my door and there he was, smiling that smile of his. He didn't just stay the night but two nights and we had breakfast and pizzas and watched movies in a pile on the living room floor and I thought to myself "why is he still here? why isn't he leaving?" and then when he actually left I didn't want him too. That was two years ago.

Throwback

Here's a mix of photos from our holiday in Sweden that didn't get posted earlier.

<3.

This is my sister Bella and Nisse, a rescue cat I adopted from a cat centre years ago who lives with her now.

Now Nisse has a best friend named Love (not as in love but as in the Swedish name Love).

Heidi's place

Some of the nights in Stockholm we stayed in a friends flat, while she was away at ITV, and took care of her cats. I loved the way she had decorated it with lots of light wood and green plants.

Go swimming

We had really good weather in Sweden so one day we decided to go swimming. On our way there Moose found a mirror so we had a little photo shoot.

Me and Peter spray painted this, took a photo of it and printed it as a gift for some friends who got married last summer. It's still there!

Sven and Moose. So much going on in this picture.

Peters face before landing in 18 degrees water.

Pretty cocky afterwards.

After about two hours in the sun I finally dared to jump in. It was cold, but not as cold as expected.

BBQ

About a week ago we had a barbecue with friends in Stockholm. Here's Edvin who just had come home from the Into the Valley-festival where he curated all the art and Magnus who was telling us about his plan to buy a house and move to the north of Sweden.

Two years ago on one of the Hurricane Collectives infamous parties me and another girl trashed my bed by jumping in it. The day after Frank and Rajdarn used the wood from the bed and built this beautiful bar.

Here's Peter and Hannah doing bbq stuff.

I introduced Seterra to Magnus and Edvin who got stuck.

Maria came and made this delicious strawberry and Feta cheese salad.

Here's me and Maria, having a holiday cigarette.

Mippe arrived.

And Moose was impossibly cute.
