Different shades of pink

Hi y'all! I've been working for a couple of days and there hasn't been much time over for anything except eating and sleeping. But tomorrow I'm off work so now I'm celebrating with some chilled rosé wine. Since we're having our engagement party on Saturday tomorrow will be a day of preparations. Hopefully the weather will be okay so we can stick to the plan; a picnic party in the park.

The first picture is one I snapped on my way to work, passing these roses every day. Second picture is a flag I made (but forgot at home) for our Swedish feminist party meet up yesterday. The meet up was a success, lots of new faces, and we finally got our feminist book club started. If you're interested there's more info here. Last one is rather obvious, but hey, you can catch a glimpse of my new blouse.

Support your local girl gang

Yesterday F! London had our second meeting and it was just as great as last time. For those of you who don't know it's a members group for the Swedish party Feminist Initiative in London that I've just started. Basically we're a bunch of women (only women so far) who meet the last Thursday of every month to talk about everything and nothing, most of it related to feminism. Yesterday we talked about Hervember, social media, a feminist bar club, Leake str All Girls Take Over, screen prints and a feminist book club. Follow us on Facebook to stay tuned.

Feministiskt Initiativ London!

At the moment I'm working with the startup of a member group for Feministiskt Initiativ in London. Feministiskt Initiativ is a Swedish feminist political party but since there's so many Swedes living in London I just thought why not get them to engage in Swedish politics even if it's outside of Sweden? The first meeting will be held the 24th of September. See our Facebook page for more info, facebook.com/feministisktinitiativlondon.

3 x Tits (Free the nipple!)

The previous week I came across three great tit related things on the internet. First this #Freethenipple bikini that's so good it almost looks like you're naked. Perfect if you don't want your tits to get banned from Instagram, if you're too shy to go all the way nude or if you just want to make a strong statement. Extra points for the fact that it comes in different colors. Though the best thing would off course be if bare breasts wasn't such a big deal, I mean come on, it's just breasts.

Second up is this old (fake?) ad. "Now you can have that sensual no-bra-look while wearing a bra", hilarious and great.

Third and last is this amazing 'Breast tee' from Maurie & Eve. I really, really want one but £79 plus shipping is a little too much for a white t-shirt that I would probably manage to keep white for a day or so.

Gendered Sculptures

Last semester I took a course in photography called Photography, interpretation and the creative process. It was a distance course at Valand Academy of Arts in Gothenburg so I could take it while I was here in London. Most of it was self-studies and each student ment to make hers or his own individual photographic project. Mine was a study in how gender affects the public space. You can see the whole project here.

Pictures by me.
