This weeks fave track: Portico Quartet - Prickly pear

I've finally found the perfect cooking music! Next to Nils Berg Cinemascope, Portico Quartet's album Knee Deep in the North Sea is so warm and cuddly. Mix the song Prickly Pear with a glass of wine, a kitchen and some groceries and you'll have a great evening. I've never though I'd be the one to write about jazz nor of music made by a group of men (sorry, not sorry). Obviously having a quarter life crisis here, but it's ok.

This weeks fave track: Nibla & Ikhana - Ingen annan

[Source]
I listened to one of my favorite podcasts the other day – Jenny & vänner, it's in Swedish but they always play loads of great music – and they played this song by a Swedish female rapper named Ikhana. Love the mix between super sweet autotune and oh so cool attitude. The video is shot in my home town Gothenburg and Ikhana and her crew is rolling around on, wait for it, SEGWAYS!

This weeks fave track: Gidge - Norrland

Yesterday my colleague introduced me to the Swedish duo Gidge which I've completely missed. The duo is Jonatan Nilsson and Ludvig Stolterman from Umeå in the north of Sweden and their track 'Norrland' sounds like seeing the sunrise from atop of a mountain. It's the perfect soundtrack to every dreamers life.
