Post exam Peckham Negronis

Yesterday I had a three hour exam over the internet which made my brain melt and over heat a bit. I think I did ok though. Afterwards I got my best fake fur out for some fun, meeting up with an old friend who's new in town for some Negronis in Peckham.

It took us one drink before we looked like this. Not so put together anymore.

Peter looked cool and unmoved as always.

Today I feel like Lola looked after Peter took her for a walk yesterday but we're invited for a free brunch at this place, and I will never miss any chance of having good food for free, ever.

Juan & Amanda

Yesterday I met up with my friends Juan and Amanda who were in London for work – and some play with me and Lola. We went to The Russet next to Hackney Downs for a beer in the afternoon. Lola started off by pressing her nose against the camera lens so all pictures looks a little smudgy.

The little troublemaker.

Peter were there as well.

Amanda busy on the phone in the background.

Love at first sight <3

Me and Amanda! Stolen from Amanda's Instagram.

Later in the evening me and my former colleague Carolinè held the first Feminist Initiative London meeting which was such a success! So many amazing people showed up and we sat outside discussing feminism and everyday things til closing. Looking forward to the next meeting already!

Hampstead Heath in pouring rain

Today we went to Hampstead Heath with Lola the puppy. It started off just fine with croissants and flat whites to go, but after a while it started pouring down and we had to seek shelter under the trees.

Poor Lola was so annoyed by the rain she started shivering. Peter tried his best to keep her happy but eventually we just had to give up and go home, watching our new obsession "Under the dome" in bed with a snoring, happy pup between us.

Friday with these two

Don't you think Lola looks exactly like Sniff from Moomin?

Wednesday

We've upgraded to a medium veg bag from Growing Communities and today we've got this beautiful pattypan squash among other goodies.

I love how earthy all the veggies are. They actually feel like they've grown in soil somewhere compared to the veggies at the big food chain stores that feel like they're grown in a laboratory.

Wednesdays are except for being my day off work and the day to collect veggies, my Lola-day. This is her stretching after a good nap. Could possibly cuddle her every second for the rest of my life and die happy.

Other things that has happened is that I'm trying to grow an avocado tree... *xciting news*

That we now have a paper pineapple on the living room wall. *xciting 2*

And that I've finally put up the best (BEST) poster ever, which unfortunately only Swedes will understand, not only because of the language but because of the text which is a remake of an old Swedish classic. Made by Edvin Thungren who also did one of the posters here.

Lola

This is Lola. She's a 4 months old Whippet Staff cross puppy and she's my new bestie. The couple who owns her needed someone to take her one day a week and since I really want a dog but can't commit 24/7 at the moment this is the perfect arrangement. She's super sweet, curious and cuddly!
