Flu again

Today I woke up unable to speak, sounding more like a crow then a person and feeling like I've been run over by a truck. Hence I've spent most of the day in bed, watching tv series and listening to podcasts. When Peter came home from work he made me ginger tea and gave me a mince pie that he'd bought. I've never had one before and didn't know what it was but apparently is the Christmas cookie of Britain. According to Wikipedia it's a pie with dried fruits, spirits and spice filling. It's also supposed to contain minced meat? Let's hope not.

This Thursday I'll be flying to Sweden to attend my Grand fathers funeral and seeing my family for a couple of days. Then when I come back it's practically Christmas, just a few days of work left. Btw, sorry for not blogging lately but I just feel so stressed and uninspired. I promise Christmas will be different! And next year, I've got so much plans for next year... But first up; this tomorrow!

This weeks fave music: PTR - Healer Ep

A lot of music blogging atm, but hey, who doesn't love music? This weeks fave track is not a single track but a whole Ep of 6 tracks by my bf Peter aka PTR. I especially love Rework, Quartz and the remix by Jarnolas. If you're into techno I'm sure you'll love it and if you're not give it a go anyway, will you? Friday feel!

2015: 100 tracks, 7 hours and 9 minutes of music

I've put all my monthly playlists from June to December (plus some extra songs) in one which I call YEARBOOK 2015. This playlist is all you need in December (except for maybe this one once in a while). Guaranteed Christmas song free and full of Swedish hiphop, weird electronic stuff and an occasional hit list-track. Hope you enjoy!

Art x 3: Sarah Ama Duah

Sarah Ama Duah is a designer living in Hamburg but who got her roots in Ghana. She is working somewhere in between fashion and art and creates crazy but magical costumes made of hair. I don't know much more about her so I let the pictures speak for themselves.

2015: Favorite photos

I've always found choosing the best amongst all the pictures you take very difficult so I thought I was going to practice that. Here's some of my favorites from 2015 starting with a house with a jungle window and Peter in Brockwell park.

Lola when she was a tiny sleepy puppy in bed. Well, she still is but she's grown a lot.

Peter in camouflage at the V&A and pink hair.

When Emma was visiting and we spontaneously bought a tattoo machine and I learned how to use it on her feet.

A tree in Hampstead Heath and turquoise fake fur.

Liverpool street by bus a cold November morning.

And the last two, from our vacay in Sweden this summer, and Tjolöholms slott.

Which one is your favorite?

Throwback: Köjafestivalen

I feel like I've mentioned Köjafestivalen like a million times so here's an actual throwback, with loads of amazing pictures by my friend Christian Gustavsson. For those of you who missed it, Köjafestivalen were a small independent festival in the north of Sweden that I organized together with a bunch of friends for two years in 2012 and 2013.

Breakfasts alone doesn't have to be bad. Smoothie, tea and avocado toast, yoghurt and toasts with Swedish cheese and cucumber.
