Regarding the migration crisis

The greatest migration crisis since the second world war is happening in Europe in this very moment and a lot of us want to help. You can donate all the money in the world to charity organisations (which I think you should!) but another equally important thing is to talk about what’s happening and to act in your everyday life. Show solidarity, welcome people regardless how they look and what language they speak. Make people understand that if you’ve been born in the UK or in Sweden, for example, it basically means that you’ve been lucky and nothing else. It doesn’t give you the right to certain things, it doesn’t make you more important then somebody else. My bf told me a very disturbing story yesterday about a youtube-video where a guy is sitting in his car talking about a meeting that he’d just been to where the issue of how to take care of refugee children had just been laughed at. Things like this, shit that ignorant people say, makes me wish for some sort of minor catastrophe to happen in Europe to make people open their eyes. Karma will come for you.
