COFFEE

119 Lower Clapton
119 Lower Clapton Road

Named after its adress, I love this place for their flat whites, the fact that you can bring your dog (if you had one) and that their walls are an ever changing art exhibition. Great place to bring your laptop.

Palm Vaults
411 Mare Street

Rumour has it that you can buy pink lattes here. However, the place looks great – marble, gold, different shades of pink and millions of plants – and the coffee is good. What more can you ask for?

BAR / PUB

Clapton Hart
231 Lower Clapton Road

My favorite Clapton pub with stuffed animals on the walls and a great big beer garden, situated in a former 18th century hotel.

Half secret tiny bar just next to Palm Vaults with great cocktails and nice site-built furniture.

Klub Trop
87 Lower Clapton Road

Kitchy bar with beers and hot dogs and a tropical soundtrack in the speakers. Also, they have a bar dog.

Tonkotsu
382 Mare Street

There are several Tonkotsu's in London but this one on Mare street is our go to place whenever we crave ramen. Which is obviously quite often, duh.

My Neighbors the Dumplings
165 Lower Clapton Road

I love when new places pops up around where I live. This place is fairly new with great food in a cute space that feels like a south east asian street market.
