Hackney Attic, 6 months!

The blog turns 6 months today! It feels both longer and shorter in an odd way. To celebrate I thought we were going to take a look at how the flat has changed since before we moved in and what it been looking like over the months.

This is the pictures that I found on Rightmove and it was these, the price and the location that made us call, go to a viewing and decide to go for it, in only two days. Double the time it took us to get our previous flat for which we signed the contract 24 hours after landing in London...

Some of the first pictures I took of the flat, the first months after we moved in. Quite empty, but oh how you miss summer when you look at them.

We decided to tear out the plastic carpet in the kitchen cause underneath it was a wooden floor that we later painted white. Here's after the first layer where I didn't bother to move the fridge or stove.

Some of the most recent pictures. But we're constantly changing bits and bobs and the livingroom already looks quite different. Plus we're thinking of treating ourselves with a new bed for Christmas. One that actually has room for both of us (apparently I'm taking up way too much space according to P).
