After we failed going up in the Shard we continued our tourist tour and since Peter's brother hadn't been to London we went via St Paul's cathedral to Trafalgar square to Big Ben and Westminster. By then it was dark and even colder so we took a taxi back to Shoreditch and had espresso martinis and Irish coffees at The Bridge. When it was dinner time we headed north to Dalston and White Rabbit, a quite fancy schmancy restaurant where we completely misunderstood the menu and ended up with dishes with only meat or fish and nothing on the side. It was good anyway and we made it up with two bottles of wine. And that was that very excellent Saturday.
